Sways
Brakes
Front hubs, only from 09+
Steering wheel/seats
Headlight projectors
Wiper stalk without. Rain sensor
Think that's most of it fir direct swap, if your into fabrication ive seen body front end conversion,
Rear uprights/hubs (requires custom axles iirc)

Lets not forget wheels, but they are considered to be quite heavy for the NC.

What's better going with rx-8 brakes or getting aftermarket, and how can you swap the headlight projectors

That depends on your definition of "better".

If your definition of "better" means a relatively cheap upgrade that will give you some better braking power and a slight boost in (braking) thermal capacity, RX-8 brakes will fit the bit.

On the other hand, RX-8 brakes add quite a bit of unsprung weight to the car, and adding unsprung weight is pretty much one of the worst things anyone can do to a car.

Do you have pictures of this? My friend just had his R3 RX8 written off in a crash and has asked what parts i would like before it goes to the wreckers. He got hit in the rear left so i am hoping the rear anti roll bar is ok but would like to see what else is worth having off the car..... Car is in the UK so i could get the parts but postage would suck!

Steering wheel and airbag also works in Miata. Shift knob will fit.
Seat will be too big for shipping.
Other parts like air flow sensor also works.

No, it only appears that way since RX-8 is a bigger car. I'm not aware of any special edition or aftermarket that are smaller.

Will need to cut the seat mounting brackets and weld in NC brackets.
You might need to cut the height adjust lever if too wide. Take measurements

One other way is to keep NC seat then switch out the bottom and back pieces. Bottom is bolted by 4 bolts. Same to back piece

All Mazda's use the same mirror. My 2013 Club has no power mirrors but comes with wiring built in.

I fitted one in my '06 NC1. Needs basic wiring but will fit.

Clutch pedal assembly for those who have cracked pedal assemblies.
There is also an Rx8 clutch reinforcement bracket which I am getting to alleviate the long term reliability of the pedal. Note I have a heavy clutch pressure plate which only exacerbates the inherent problem.

I have a set of front rx8 rebuilt and powder coated calipers I bought but never installed. Supposed to bolt up fine. The dust shields need trimming and will need rx8 size rotors.

This seems like a very interesting part / mod. Once you have that reinforcement bracket installed, would you please post an update here, preferably with a picture to show what the bracket looks like?

This is what the product link for a complete reinforced pedal assembly. No relation to the vendor.

http://raceroots.com/index.php/produ...-assembly.html

The part that usually fails is the driver side of the assembly at the firewall base since the pedal is offset it will pull up on those welds and being as thin as the metal is - in my case it ripped the weld clean out and had fatigue tearing in the metal itself as well. People have welded the area but since it does not add material to the area as well as making the area brittle only causes future failure.

Do guys run the RX8 wheels at all? I have a set here with really good tires, but not so sure about 19's lol. I know I've seen a pic floating around of someone running them, but it's the only example I've ever seen.

19s would need to be slammed and have huge brakes to not look silly

Personally, I think that even most 18s don't look great. There are a few exceptions, with Andy's LS3 being the first that comes to mind.

19s would look like donks on our cars.
