Pacific Northwest owners

Did you see it??? Yes, that yellow orb in the sky! I spent most of the day driving around - Top down Hope you all did as well

Non PNW folks: We had our first dry day in some time, but the rain is forecast to return this evening ... 10 day forecast is rain everyday

I started motoring around Everett and Snohomish, then drove down to Renton where I washed my car over at sailawayrb's house. I then, slowly, worked my way north

Except for color, we have the same car (at least, as it came from the factory!). Alas, my little beauty spent the day in the garage as I had other commitments. Hope you had a good drive!

I had the same problem. Some guy with same car as mine parked in my drive-way and blocked my car from getting out while he washed his car... What nerve!

How rude!
Yes, I heard about the "sun", that bright orb that graced your sodden skies. My daughter called to announce it's rare presence... Enjoy!

I do not (at this point). I have many other mods, but not that one. I'm not sure if the added noise is worth it or not. Yeah, I know I could put in the glass baffles, but then what would be the point (other than dropping $400 to get muffer that is polished). Why do you ask?

If you got up early you would have seen a pale unheated orb, with a zillion sparklers all around. Yes we had a nice Saturday.

Did you sleep through Thursday? The West Sound was dry all day!

I think you meant Wednesay - And no, I didn't sleep in; I took the day off from work and crusied with the top down!!! I also invited sailawayrb to do the same but he decided work was more important

NO! Wed. was Ok untill a bit after 11 on the way home and it rained the rest of the day. Thursday clouds (not rain) till it was sunny in the afternoon. No rain till around 5. Then monsoon through Friday. I am in the West Sound so my weather might be a bit different.

Why do I ask? - curiosity.

"noise"? Oh.....my OK, I've got to clam down...............

I will be publishing a dissertation later today, on my research involving the RoadsterSport exhaust system and available options, which will include my non quantifiable data, observations and recommendations. Stay hooked up to the Internet - cause it's gonna be interesting and informative.....

Yep, a big Ya'll know, as well as I do, it can be raining on one side of the street around here and the sun shining on the other side of the street. That is why Mazda made the tops on our NCs so quick and easy to put up and down................

Please forgive my brother, he is young and knows not what he says and does at times...

As you know Humfrz, it takes many years of experience and acquired wisdom to fully appreciate the true Roadster sound that only the RS exhaust can produce with our NCs.

Hey, the bride and I watched The Graduate last night (Netflix). It was pretty cool seeing and listening to Benjamin's red Alfa Romeo convertible again with surround sound. I couldn't believe it has been 40 years since that movie was released.

<sigh> No, I did not. I was already out with my wife and kids (do the math...we were definitely not in the MX-5) running some errands when the skies cleared.

I finally caved, though. After nearly two weeks with my new car and two weeks of terrible weather, my daughter and I washed my car for the first time this afternoon. In the rain. I just couldn't stand the caked-on leaves and pine needles behind the wheels any more.

Such is car care in the Pacific Northwest in November, I guess...

I feel your pain and did the same thing yesterday (rinsed the pine needles off after a nice spirited drive.... in the rain...)!!

As a former Washintonian, I sympothize with you're plight, in the PNW. Last time I was up your way was Aug of '99 to take my, now, ex-wife to Ft. Lewis Madigan Army Hospital to get her tubes untide..... That was close! But Alas it was bright and sunny! But as I recall my ex-wife had on a jacket.
I showed her Point Defiance and from there the Sound to Narrows Bridge. It was cool because I had the oportunity to show her where I grew up. Was stationed at Mt. Home AFB, Idaho at the time.

Well, I pray for the Bright warm orb for you guys!

Hey Heelntoe, make sure you read up about our NC drain system and keep it clean. The only thing worse than leaves and pine needles in the wheel wells are leaves and pine needles with a few inches of water in your trunk.

Here are some excellent threads on this subject:

While it's still raining here, the mail person was good to me today... they delivered numerous mod parts to my home!! (Fumoto valve, Zeta armrest, LED lights for the rear license plate, and my Redline black leather boots) - My report on these items:

Love the LED lights (installed), and Fumoto valve (and adapter)

Like the Zeta (installed), but it looks like it cost $.99 to make. The profit margin on this must be close to infinity!!

Not overly impressed with my $60 Redline boots. The shifter boot is not folded over and sewn like the picture on the web or like the e-brake boot. For the price, I expected a lot more. Give this mod a "value score" of 4 (out of 10). The leather quality is okay but....
