Still, you passed on the Volvo suv for your wife because of the iPad in the dash that controls all the functions, iirc.

Different kind of clutter. When you didn't need to control anything the XC60 interior was marvelously uncluttered. When you DID need to control anything and opened that screen, the clutter was epic.

It's a true tragedy that the user interface is bad in the new Volvos, and that they're all powered by 4-cylinders. I'd rock a V12 S90 if it only had buttons for hvac, etc.

And was cheap...

Yup, back in the 1950’s Lancia produced an 1.8L V6, and Suzuki offered a 1.6L V6 in their Vitara. Those are my useless facts for the day.

That’s all well and good but the sloppy writer of the article said the MX3 had the smallest displacement engine ever put in a production car. Nothing about smallest V6.

I noticed that also, and then my head filled with all the exceptions. I just figured either the author or the editor mis-typed it.
Just in my own history was an 850 cc Sprite and a 600 cc Honda N600.
Three of those two cylinder Hondas is one 1.8 L V6 Mazda.

I think the Vitara and Gen 1 XL7 had 2.5L and 2.7L V6's.

https://www.carthrottle.com/post/6-t...oduction-cars/ I stand corrected. This thread indicates that there is a 2.0L version, but not a 1.6

Just received full body Corrosion Free rust proof. Underbody is very clean, pictures can be provided.

Currently on a set of winter tires dated 2020. Comes with a set of OEM rims.

List of service includes:

Underbody does look really good. If as reported, it looks like a great buy for an MX-3 enthusiast! Funny thing, his summer wheels were my winter wheels for our 95M, I'd bought a set locally.

In Canada we got a 1993 25th Anniversary Edition MX-3 - in a raspberry mica colour (which had been one of the 6 test colours on the 1991 test colour Miatas), with black perforated leather seats. My wife almost bought one when she moved to Canada in 1996, but went with a new Ford Contour SE instead.

Canada actually got 25th Anniversary Editions of every Mazda in 1993, to celebrate the 25th year of Mazda Canada vehicle sales - the 25AE Miata was very similar to the US 93 LE Miata, black with red interior and BBS wheels, but our version got a unique 2 post floating rear wing instead of the lip spoiler on the US LE. We had the aforementioned raspberry mica MX-3 25AE, and 25AEs of the RX-7, MX-6, 626, Protege, 323, MPV, and 929!

Oh yeah, for that blue 94 MX-3 in Toronto - buy it!!!

Sorry, underbody looks like it has been painted. I've seen many used car lots throw some black paint over the entire under body to hide the crusty stuff.

That's what mine was.

And that "unique 2 post floating rear spoiler" made the trunk lid too heavy. I needed a piece of 2x4 to hold it up.
